Calculators provide estimates only

Every calculator on this site — including but not limited to the BMI, calorie, body fat, BMR, ideal weight, and pregnancy calculators — produces general estimates based on standard, published formulas (such as the Mifflin-St Jeor equation, the U.S. Navy body-fat method, and Naegele's rule). These results are for informational and educational purposes only. For decisions that matter — health, money, or legal questions — always check with a qualified doctor, registered dietitian, financial advisor, or other relevant expert before acting on any result from this site.

Accuracy of formulas

We make a genuine effort to implement each formula correctly and to cite the method used on every calculator page. If you believe a calculation is wrong, please tell us via the Contact page — we take correction requests seriously and will investigate and fix genuine errors.

No liability

CalculatorLA.com and the individual(s) who operate it make no warranties about the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any calculation, and are not liable for any decision made, or harm resulting from, reliance on results produced by this site.

Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the site, attempt to disrupt its operation, reverse-engineer it for malicious purposes, or use automated tools to scrape or overload it. The formulas and written explanations on this site are original content; you're welcome to link to any page, but please don't republish the explanatory text elsewhere without permission.

No account, no warranty of availability

This site requires no account or sign-up. As an independently maintained project, we aim for high availability but cannot guarantee the site will be online, error-free, or uninterrupted at all times.
